Full Tilt Review

Full Tilt Poker, now branded as, is the brainchild of poker professionals Howard Lederer and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, which came onto the online poker scene in 2004. At that time no other poker site had anywhere near the star-studded lineup of sponsored poker players that Full rolled out. In addition to the aforementioned you had Phil Ivey, Clonie Gowen, Erick Lindgren, Jennifer Harman, John Juanda, Phil Gordon, and Andy Bloch.

That list has grown over the last four years to include many other professional players to include Mike "The Mouth" Matusow and Patrik Antonius as well numerous other "Red Pros" as they are called from the online ranks. They each have a table named after them on the download version and anytime you see a table highlighted in red you can choose to sit down and play with them (provided your bankroll is sufficient).

Full Software

The website is based on the exclusive software that was created by TiltWare, LLC. Taking the collective input from the Team Full pro players, this application was built from the ground up to offer a unique playing experience like no other site. Users get to choose several different table views as well as a collection of animated avatars to reflect their individuality. Feeling like a donk because you just lost a few hundred bucks? Choose the Donkey avatar. Is a shark more your speed? They have one of those too. If you're just too hardcore to deal with the distraction you can turn them off altogether. Tournament Play

Tournaments at Full Tilt Poker are plentiful, ranging from freerolls every day to the larger guaranteed tourneys each evening. If you're looking for a way to fill your Sunday with poker action, you're at the right site. Warm up with the Sunday Brawl ($240+$16)– a knockout bounty tournament where in addition to fighting for first place you earn $40.00 for each player you eliminate. Once that's complete you can enter into the 750K Sunday Guarantee ($200+$16) that's always a popular draw. Knocked out early because your aces were cracked? Try to conquer the Sunday Mulligan ($200+$16), where most of the players head once they're eliminated from the Main Event. Sit N Go Events

If the bigger tournaments aren't your preference there are a multitude of smaller Sit and Go events to participate in. Everything from 180 person mini tournaments to single table games are offered with entry fees to suit any size bankroll.

When navigating the Full Tilt game lobby you'll see a variety of games offered including:

Loyalty Program

Full Tilt Poker offers a good Frequent Player Point program, as detailed on the site, it rewards you for each raked hand and tournament that you play. In the download version, the gifts in the store range from small items such as playing cards to a Mini Cooper S or even you own custom avatar for 1,000,000 points.

Once you’re on Full Tilt’s website homepage, you’ll see a Mobile button taking you to instructions on how to download the app. The Full Tilt mobile app has been created by and for one of the best online poker sites, and is compatible on any mobile device that uses iOS or Android platforms. This means you can use your smartphone or tablet to play your favourite games, place bets, and win some real money while you’re out and about.

With the iOS or Android download, you can choose from a huge host of games to play that have kept their original high quality graphics and visuals. Some other advantages of Full Tilt poker mobile are the hand history option where you can review your last 50 hands, Find a Player which lets you search for your fellow poker friends, and a fully customised lobby. This will allow you to see all the games that are of highest interest to you, making your mobile gaming all the more personal.

Playing poker online for money is made easier with the Full Tilt mobile app, especially with the Rush Poker option. This poker format minimises the wait time between hands, keeping you in the action 100% of the time. When you decide to fold, you’ll be moved to the next hand in an instant. This is a fantastic option for when you’re gambling on the go.
