Since launching in 2009, the annual Spring Championship of Online Poker has continued to grow in size, but this year things have been taken to a new level.

Wanting to make up for the recent anniversary Sunday Million that missed its $10 million guarantee, PokerStars’ team has scheduled at least one $1 million+ SCOOP MTT every day.

More Million Dollar Days

When the action gets underway on May 6, players will be able to take part in 15 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $11 to $2,100. On top of that, three events will have $1 million guarantees, while the day itself will offer more than $6 million in prize money.

This trend will continue throughout the festival until the final tournaments come to a conclusion on May 21.

As in previous years, each event will be split into three levels: low, medium and high. But in a change to previous years, PokerStars will be giving away five Platinum Passes worth $30,000.

Added Value for Main Event Winners

The recent innovation is designed to send 300+ tournament winners to the inaugural PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold’em Championship in the Bahamas.

The tournament will cost $25,000 to enter and not only feature at least $8 million in prize money but will be streamed live to online viewers around the world. To help push the event and, in turn, generate more interest in SCOOP 2018, PokerStars is giving one package to each main event winner.

Additionally, the Player of the Series and the last player standing in a random all-in shootout will secure an all-expenses paid trip to Bahamas in January 2019. While the main events will likely be the top attraction during this year’s festival, the schedule has been designed to offer some sort of value to players at all levels.

As well as No Limit Hold’em tournaments, low-to-high stakes showdowns in variants such as HORSE, Pot Limit Omaha, Stud and Triple Draw will all be one the menu.
