PokerStars Carnival of Tournaments Offers $2M Prizepool

PokerStars recently found another reason to celebrate – although it often has multiple reasons to throw a party – when it announced the countdown to its 900-millionth online tournament.

We all know PokerStars as an MTT powerhouse in the online world, and to celebrate that fact, the operator recently hosted a Carnival of Tournaments. Designed to mark the lead up to tournament #900 million, the festival has a $2 million prizepool across a range of events.

Souped Up and Full of Bonuses

Running from April 21st until April 27th the PokerStars promotion made it possible for players to pad their bankrolls in a number of ways thanks to enhanced guarantees, on-the-spot payouts and additional cash bonuses.

Indeed, between April 21st and April 25th PokerStars will be increasing the guarantees of all its Daily Bigs by 50 percent, and this augmentation will be stepped up further on April 26th when the prizepools for all the Daily Bigs will be doubled.

As if this wasn’t enough, PokerStars will complete its Carnival of Tournaments by applying 3X multiplier to its Daily Bigs on May 27th. That means some of the site’s most popular MTTs will see their prizepools jacked up by as much as $100,000.

One-Million Dollar Prizepool

As a final act of generosity PokerStars has put together a $1 million guaranteed prizepool for tournament #900 million. On top of this the milestone, MTT will feature an extra $100,000 in bonus prizes, manifested in the form of cash and tournament tickets, which will be randomly distributed to players as the action progresses.

Aside from reaching one of the most impressive tournament totals in the history of online poker, PokerStars has made the fortunes of thousands of grinders since its inception and, to give the community into just how lucrative its events are, the site has produced a special infographic.
