Pala Interactive and Neteller will soon be open for business according to the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jeremy Clemons.

After opening its virtual doors for beta testing on Monday, Pala planned to gradually increase its availability to players throughout the week and went live on Wednesday. Now officially serving customers, it will do so with Neteller as one of its partners.

Thanks to a recent deal with Optimal Payments, Pala Interactive’s poker and casino platforms will be able to utilize a range of well-respected payment processors, including Neteller. Having this partnership with a brand such as Neteller should not only help Pala’s credibility within the Garden State, but give its prospective customers a better way to manage their bankroll.

Credit Card Issues

Since igaming went live in New Jersey 12 months ago, a number of players have experienced deposit issues when using credit cards. Although the number of declined transitions has improved as the market has matured, the uncertainty surrounding this payment method has seemingly turned off potential patrons.

Although Neteller doesn’t have the same reputation that MasterCard and Visa have, it is a respected payment processor and one that has been reliable in the past. This peace of mind is something players could certainly latch on to and something Pala has been keen to push ahead of its launch.

As well as relying on its partnership with Neteller to attract new players, Pala is offering 500 beta testers $25 a day to test-drive and provide feedback on the current product. In an effort to ensure the software is glitch free and as player-friendly as possible, New Jersey residents can sign-up via Pala’s website and earn some money before the site goes live.

Support from Ivey

Across Twitter the feedback for Pala has been mixed, but one player that’s thrown his weight behind the product is Phil Ivey. The high stakes pro had previously been linked to the site in a business capacity and he tweeted that he’s happy another platform is going live in his home State of New Jersey.

@philivey – Congrats to @PalaCasinoOnline for going live in my home state of New Jersey. Great site. Check it out at Pala.”

Although Pala is 12 months behind its competition in terms of experience, it does have a number of positives on its side. On top of having a partnership with Neteller and being linked to the Borgata Casino, the site is being headed by Jim Ryan. The former bwin.party boss has a wealth of experience in the online gaming sector outside of the US and should be well placed to help the company push forward in a tough market.
